What type of photography do you focus on?

Where are you based? Are you open to travel?

I am based in Maui, Hawaii. Yes, adventures are welcome! Contact me for more info.

When can I expect a response?

Please note that I do work a regular "9-5" job while actively being present and tend to my life and family with two small children :)
Please expect a response within 24-48 hours :)

What is your cancellation policy?

Amethyst Jay Photography requires a 7-day cancellation notice.
This will allow time for me to fill the photo shoot date and time.
Retainer paid at the time of booking remains non-refundable.
Rescheduling is based upon my availability.

How do I book/confirm a photo session with you?

Hit that inquiry button and lets create some magic!
Also, a 50% retainer is required to lock in your date and time.
The 50% retainer is non-refundable and will be used towards your session.
The remaining balance is due 7-days prior to the photo session, otherwise I will deem the session as cancelled.

What happens if it rains? Do you offer refunds?

Amethyst Jay Photography has a strict "NO REFUNDS POLICY"
In the event that unforeseen circumstances (i.e. camera failure, extreme weather, or any other unforeseen incident that prevents a photoshoot from occurring) occurs on the scheduled photoshoot, the photographer will notify the client within two (2) hours before the time of the photoshoot to reschedule. Refunds will not be given. The client understands that rescheduling a session will be at the availability of the photographer.

What is the booking process?

1. INQUIRY FORM
• Fill out the inquiry form. Please expect a response within 24-48 hours. I'll send over my prices + packages for you to review and schedule a time to talk to you over the phone or Zoom.
2. FREE CONSULTATION
• Talk story and get to know you better and what you are envisioning for your photoshoot. If we vibe, then on to the next step!
3. BOOK WITH ME
• Lock in your date and time with a retainer and I will send you your contract and invoice.
4. TALK STORY MORE :)
• I'm not going to leave you high and dry. I will check in with you periodically as it gets closer to your special day to see if you have any questions or suggestions with attire, location, etc.
5. PHOTO SESSION DAY
• The Big Day! Remember to relax and have fun because the camera is on you ;)
